Welcome to a theatrical journey where music, movement, drama, and design come together!
Our After-School Musical Theater Program invites children aged 6 to 10 to discover the joy of performance through a rich, multi-disciplinary experience rooted in creativity and culture.
Program Highlights
Indian Classical Music
Learn rhythm, melody, and vocal techniques through age-appropriate training in Indian classical traditions.
Dance Class
Explore expressive movement, coordination, and storytelling through both classical and creative dance forms.
Drama Class
Dive into character-building, improvisation, voice modulation, and stage presence in a fun, supportive environment.
Design Class
Unleash imagination by designing your own costumes and set pieces for performances!
In every class, children will engage with all four mediums according to the schedule below

Final Performance Showcase
At the end of the term, in December, students will present a mini-musical created entirely by them — complete with original sets and costumes!

Faculty
Mr.Manickdeep Masih
Music
Born into a family of musicians, he began performing Sitar at the age of five and trained under Ustaad Shujaat Khan in the Gayaki Ang style. With a deep grounding in both Indian classical and Western music, he has performed across India and internationally, including for dignitaries and embassies. He has released music albums, conducted workshops, and currently teaches Indian and Western music at Manava Bharati India International School, New Delhi.
Mr. Kishor Panwar
Dance
Kishor Panwar is a Kathak dancer from the renowned Jaipur Gharana. With a lifelong passion for dance, he has performed across India and currently serves as the head of the music department at schools like Hill Grove and Ambience Public School. He is dedicated to preserving the Jaipur Gharana’s legacy, especially among youth in South Delhi, through private lessons and mentorship. He also teaches tabla, folk dance, and ladies’ sangeet, aiming to offer a holistic experience of Indian music and dance.
Ms. Mahima Kaur
Drama
Founder-Director, Dreaming Child | Early Years & Theater Educator
Mahima Kaur is the Founder-Director of Dreaming Child, with a passion for early childhood education and the performing arts. An engineer from Cornell University with a Montessori Diploma and training in theater, dance, and scriptwriting from Cornell University and NYU, she began teaching drama in the year 2010. Since then, she has directed over 30 children’s theater productions across the NCR, blending creativity with research-driven learning to empower young minds through the arts.
Ms. Seema Rajput
Art
Seema Rajput is a sustainable artist and accessory designer based in Delhi. A proud NIFT Design alumna, she combines her design expertise with a deep passion for mindful, eco-conscious living. Through her entrepreneurial venture, Our Creative Quest, Seema shares the joy of creating art from waste — inspiring children to slow down, connect with nature, and explore their creativity.
Her thoughtfully curated, hands-on workshops for kids are rooted in sustainability and nature appreciation. Using recycled materials, natural elements, and everyday packaging waste, she encourages young minds to see beauty and potential in the discarded — fostering both creativity and environmental responsibility.
