“Nurturing Self expression & Creativity through stories, drama, art and music and dance.”
What is Storytellers Huddle about?
Stories help us understand ourselves, each other and the world around us. They allow us to become aware of and appreciate all life as it exists. At the same time stories give wings to imagination and open up the world of creative possibilities.
In each term a rich and relevant selection of stories is chosen with a central theme. Each of the stories, like an anchor, offer opportunities to help children develop their own unique perspectives, at the same allow them to undertake creative adventures into the world of Drama, Music, Art and Dance . Each story is like a map, with travel routes, some extending to Dramatic Enactments, others to Creative Art Projects or Musical explorations, with an aim to deepen their understanding and strengthen their abilities to express.
The program culminates in an intimate event, where every child discovers the Power of Stories and Self Expression.
